Mermaid Melody este ceva de genul Tokyo Mew Mew,numai ca unii zic ca e mai copilaros dar nu cred.In acest anime este vorba despre 7 (de fapt 8 ) sirene care trebuiesc s-o trezeasca pe Aqua Regina-sama (regina oceanelor) si sa-l opreasca pe Gaito,o fiinta rea care vrea sa le ia perlele cu ajutorul caruia ele canta armonios sa faca o coroana cu ele.Insa sunt demoni de apa care impiedica de multe ori unirea lor.
